Effective Aid International partners both with those in need, and those like you, with a desire to make our world a better place.
We refuse to be spectators in the world's crises, and are committed to the provision of quality humanitarian aid projects that provide emergency care and development to the poor, oppressed and homeless people of our global community.
The problem...
Half the world's population lives under the oppression of poverty. Much is said, much is done, but over the last decade there has only been minimal improvement in the statistics.

1.3 billion people live on less than one dollar a day.

3 billion people live on less than two dollars a day.

1.3 billion people have no access to clean water.

3 billion have no access to sanitation.

2 billion have no access to electricity.

Almost 800 million people in the developing world are still chronically undernourished, almost two thirds of whom reside in the Asia Pacific region.

Nearly a billion people entered the 21st century unable to read a book or sign their names.

Less than one percent of what the world spends every year on weapons was needed to put every child into school by the year 2000 - it didn't happen.

Effective Aid International’s response...
Effective Aid International partners with key local leaders in developing countries, to provide projects that are pro-active in addressing the causes and results of poverty. Our current major focus is on the needs of the many refugees and internally displaced people suffering because of the active persecution and repression of ethnic minority groups in Burma.
